I got his autograph at a concert in Hamilton- many moons ago. That man is handsome! Think he was rather taken aback by the album I wanted signed - probably came out around 1963 . Told him I'd been a fan for a long, long time.

I want to ride a freestyle sooooo bad, but I love Rock Music, how do you find songs with no lyrics?
I don't think the judge would be impressed with AC/DC blaring down centre line.......lol

Actually I have seen a pas de deux that started out to You Shook Me All Night Long! It then went to a medley of rock songs ( I know Jump was one, and I think All Right Now was another). It looked great and the riders had somehow managed to get these songs sans lyrics. Not muzak either, the songs sounded exactly right, just no singing! I've seen a Beatles medley as well that was good. The London area seems to have really strong freestyles, the ones at a Trillium show I went to there a few years ago were superior to a lot of what you see at the National level.
I have often wondered if Baker Street or Bullet with Butterfly Wing might work for a lower level freestyle, but I generally show National so if I ever get to the FEI levels they'll probably be too complicated to do to one song only.

The Last of the Mohicans soundtrack maybe? The score is excellent and really builds, very nice.

Actually, the new K-OS song - "man I used to be" I think I could post trot to the beat in that one too.

It depends on your horses rhythm, the music has to match the horse!

A mare i used to have used to do a beautiful Kur to beach boys medley... her show name with me was sassy girl, when she went to the new owners she became "surfer girl" and man that horse could dance!

We used to have an excellent freestyle back in the STB mare days that was to Preservation Hall Jazz, which is swingy. It was always a hit with the audience and the judges.
