Xenasaur, she went downhill overnight (I couldn't believe how fast) and wouldn't eat, drink or move very much. We were afraid she was colicing, but all other signs were normal. Blood tests showed she was anemic and probably had an ulcer, so she's been on a ton of drugs since last Monday. She is improving every day, and her attitude is coming back with it .
Kobau, ain't that tooo true! I have always worried when they were 'good', and figured something must be wrong! Geeeeez, that doesn't sound good for the behavior of my ponies........... But I think they are just like kids......when they are quiet, something ain't right............
Sheba, I am surprised how fast she has turned around with how sick she was. How long did it take your fellow to feel better once you had diagnosed and started to treat him? I know this is apples and oranges here tho.
