Parelli that is, on my horse.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

Now I will be the first to say that I hate his marketing stuff and some
of the things they do (not wearing helmets, standing on their horses,
etc....). It's not for everyone, and I respect that.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

But I have been playing the 7 games with Gambit and it makes a huge
difference. He is so much more relaxed, not as tense and really tries
to work for me. It really helped with his touchy spots, especially his
ears. He enjoys the challenges and will even choose them on his own.
It's really helped him bend his neck, which he is very stiff with.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

My bf is doing it too. It has really, really improved things between
him and Rain. It's made a bond. It has also curbed her disrespect and
is making it clear that she is not the dominant one. She is a super
mare, a very nice horse BUT she likes to try and run the show. The
parelli has really helped her learn to listen and respect my bf.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#
It's beginning to show under saddle as well. She listens to and respects him way more.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

They are common sense, but I like the way they are applied.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#
And we don't use the parelli gear. I use my own rope halter which is a
bit thicker, the bf has even used his basic nylon halter and lead and
it has worked. I use a parelli style stick I found online for half the
price of the carrot stick.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

I've kept an open mind about this. Gave it a try. I think for anyone
who has a horse with issues like my guy, or disrespect like my bf's
mare, this is a very good system to help with it. Not every horse needs
it or can use it. But in my case I'm very happy with it. Just thought
I'd share. #ed_op#br#ed_cl#
