For really effective pain relief, you can take ibuprofen (Advil,
Motrin) plus acetominorphen (Tylenol) together.  Tylenol hits the
pain, Advil hits pain plus inflammation.  I used it (with my
doctor's advice) for both my broken ankle and my pinched lumbar nerve.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#
Wish I had had some when my horse mashed my little toe.  It
swelled and hurt like crazy. And I had an important luncheon to limp to
the next day!  Bone bruises take FOREVER to heal.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

I've got permanent circulation changes in my right foot from being stepped on. It's not fun; I know. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
