I posted an ad a short time ago in the EC classifieds #ed_op#img src="richedit/smileys/Happy/21.gif"#ed_cl#and have had a good response. #ed_op#br#ed_cl#

A nice young woman came by to check out the horse for one of her
students. Everything went well and she came back earlier today
with her student, the student's mom, etc. Again, everything went
really well. We were all very pleased.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

THEN, after we turned the horse back out into his paddock, he walked up
to a fence post, grabbed it and CRIBBED! I was mortified. I
"thought" I had heard him do this once, about a year ago, but I never
saw it and shrugged it off. I have never, ever seen him do this
and I was completely shocked. As the people were leaving, the
coach said she would talk things over with the mother and student (no
one made a big deal about the cribbing; just said he was a naughty boy)
and would call me later to let me know.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

I am completely devestated and mortified. If I had seen him crib
or knew he had done this (my husband has since told me he has seen him
do it "a couple of times") I would certainly have made a point of
saying that he was a "possible" cribber. I definitely wouldn't
term him a "cribber" since I've never seen him do it and obviously he
doesn't make a habit of it.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

I DO have a yearling that cribs (she was quite ill as a foal and has
done so for most of her short life). If/when I sell her, she will
be noted as a cribber; I'm not the type of person that would try and
hide such a thing.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

Anyway, I'm sitting here just feeling totally bummed out. #ed_op#img src="richedit/smileys/Sad/4.gif"#ed_cl#
