Postby rockyhorse » Fri Mar 18, 2005 8:39 pm

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I will be offering a second horsemanship clinc  (incorporating both natural horsemanship and centered riding  techniques) the week of June 3-5. The details are as follows:  #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Learn to communicate with your horse using his language to establish a bond based on respect for the human herd leader#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Acquire the tools that enable you to become your horse’s leader and teach him to become calmer, braver and more responsive. #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#On the ground and in the saddle you can then ask him to yield from pressure, negotiate obstacles and easily go forwards, sideways and backwards with energy and enthusiasm#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Much of the riding portion will be taught using the principles and techniques of Centered Riding. Centered Riding is an innovative way of expressing the classical principles of riding, using body awareness, centering and imagery. It teaches a language that allows clearer communication between horse, rider, and instructor.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#BR#ed_cl#Date: June 3-5#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Times: Friday evening 7:00 – 9:30#ed_op#BR#ed_cl#Saturday 1:30 – 5:00 (Saturday evening session also included for those interested)#ed_op#BR#ed_cl#Sunday 9:00 – 12:00 #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Location: 4852 Vandorf Sideroad (Bloomington and Hwy 48) #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Fee: $120.00#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Limited stabling is available - $25.00 for the weekend#ed_op#BR#ed_cl#Horses are available - $20.00 for the clinic duration#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Laura Hunter, director of Giddyup! and a Centered Riding instructor currently runs two therapeutic riding programs and a riding school. Does she do clinics in other provinces? Like Saskatchewan, for example?
