Two riders will compete at the same time over identical courses of not more than 8 obstacles. Pairs will be random. The winner of each pair will go forward into the next round, and so on, until the competition is complete. In the case of a refusal with a knock down the competitor is penalized and continues without jumping that obstacle or waiting until it has been rebuilt. If the rider has 3 refusals at an obstacle, the rider may continue onto the next obstacle, if the other rider has not finished his/her course. If the entries don’t pair up, there will be a “Lottery Draw” to move up a round.
