Personally, it dosn't strike my fancy. It leaves me feeling kind of grotesque and sick feeling to be honest lol...but it's art. Art is beautiful in the way that it can appeal to many and not to others.

Yeah, not quite to my taste.
I think how it has been drawn is lovely, but I don't quite like the picture it self.

I think it's nice. Reminds me of fantasy pictures I've seen. Is that feathers that's wrapped around them?

Looks more to me like where a baby emerges from than feathers. Probably a combination of the two ideas!

see what i mean? for everyone who's fancy it dosn't grab, it finds someone else! however i dont see the 'feathers' as feathers...i saw them more like sharp brass things coming out to pierce, as if they are enclosed and can't escape, so she holds the baby close to try to protect it...

Oh man, SP, you have some issues (just kidding!)
FWIW, the pic does nothing for me either...but you know what they say about art, it's all in the eye of the beholder

Really?? I thought it looked like a cocoon and the mother was loving holding the baby. I thought it was a warm loving picture, well from the hands up. I guess your right Soda...people do see things differently

I see it for as it was intended. A Mother holding her precious child close to her heart and praying to the Great Spirit (Heaven) in gratitude and love. She is adorned by soft leather and feathers.

But true, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I wouldn't hang it all my wall but I think the artist did a good job portraying what they wanted. And the art work itself is good.

But, no, not something that would be in my house on my wall.

Nor would it go on my wall
I have antiques and teacups etc.
Guess what I see is what I felt when I held my children when they were babies.
I miss my babies being babies, but not the crying, diapers, sleepless nights, etc.
