This is the sweetheart I'll be taking on for training until she's sold. I am trying to post more often... <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> I'll have the internet at home soon. I won't put a date on it but *soon*. <br /> <br />And I'm so excited about Iris, I HAD to get on here and tell you gys.<img border="0" src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> <br /> <br />Eileen - I do know what you mean about her being sold from under me but it really is the best case scenario: I have a horse to ride as if it were my own but she's taken care of financially by her owner. I am excited about getting her but I'm realistic that I don't know for how long I'll have her. That's the down side about riding a horse that's not your own. Even when they're not for sale, the same thing can happen (has happened to me several times). <br /> <br />Rickie - I know, I'd want to keep her too! The thing is, the owner got her as a 2yo in exchange for some services. She breeds trakhenner and doesn't have room for her. We're hoping to find an experienced junior or small adult for her. <br /> <br />Promise - She's a 4 1/2 yo reg. anglo-arab. About 15hh... Depending on how I have her, I'd like to get her to a solid training level dressage before the end of the summer and start her over small jumps. First goal is to get her steady in the contact.<img border="0" src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> She's sooooo well started though, it'll be a pleasure working with her. I had her doing leg yields just off my seat and I don't think she'd done it before. She's so sweet.<img border="0" src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0">
