#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Boy, she's a sleepy little thing, isn't she??  Soooo cute though, all tuckered out from her busy day.  What a little angel  #ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/Happy/24.gif"#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Okay heres the scoop on her :)#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#The first two pics are from at the breeder. We picked her out of 7 little girls and then she came up to the house with us to do all the paper work and just stayed on the blanket that we brought for her like its been hers all along. It was a long drive home (2 1/2 hours) so we had to take some pit stops. She cried a little in the car at first but then settled and slept the whole way home except when we had her out to pee. Once home we set up her crate and put her blanket in and after some serious playing she went into the crate all on her own for a nap. We haven't had once accident in the house yet. We take her out about every hour and as soon as she hits the grass she does her business. She cried a little when we locked her in at night but only for a short while. We had an alarm set to take her out every 2 hours unless she let us know and she actually did wake us up about 15min before the alarm once because she had to go. She cried a little everytime we put her back in but the most was for 7min (we timed her). She has just been a star! Her vet appointment went well, she actuall fell asleep on the table while we discussed future appointments and vaccinations. She really is a sweety and seems to be doing really well concidering we just came and scooped her away from her mother yesturday. :)#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

What a gorgeous puppy. Congratulations. It sounds as if she is going to be an absolute joy to train and have around.

We went to look at a house in the country today and the guy selling has a male black lab. Well, guess what I ended up doing!! Yup, throwing endless sticks for the dog. The house is fabulous as well so our pup is getting closer to being a reality. Your pictures just made me realize how ready I am for another dog.

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#just adorable...but my goodness - she sounds like more work than a baby person!! i've had two kids, and after that - i will not be ahving an 8 wk old puppy in my houses! lol - i'll let someone else do the house-training, etc!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#SP - She's a yellow lab, not a golden retriever #ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys//smiley2.gif"#ed_cl#. Apparently there is a big tiff between yellow labs and golden retrievers lol...I've been told over and over there is no such thing as a Golden Lab! lol#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#BT- yep she is a lot of work...its not like we can just put her to bed with a diaper on lol. But she will be worth it! We won't have to take her out quite so much soon. She went longer inbetween needing out last night so we are on our way! #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
