DJ - I had abnormal cells for almost 2 years - had to go to the gyno for a pap every 6 months (still do, even though I've been "clean" for the past year!) - just because they are abnormal doesn't mean they are cancerous....that's probably why they are telling you the results are "inconclusive" - all they want to do at this point is to keep monitoring the situation, then if there are additional negative changes they will send you for treatment (maybe a colposcopy to get rid of the abnormal cells...). My abnormal cells just went away on their own, which happens in alot a cases.... A good girlfriend of mine had had abnormal cells for a number of year, but because things haven't changed for the worst, they won't send her for any kind of treatment.......
If you don't feel comfortable just "keeping an eye on things" go to another doctor who you feel more comfortable with and who you can trust....
