I was informed by my boss at my Mon-Wed job on Sat. afternoon that he is closing the store March 1st. I made a panicky phone call to the Thurs-Sat job to see if they could give me 2 more days a week and they said they would love to. So I will be there Tues-Sat, with Mondays if needed. Guess I didn't really need to be so stressed out as to buy a pack of cigarettes after all! I quit 3 years ago, but will still smoke under extreme duress, and I do mean situations like looming unemployment, not I had a bad day. Unfortunately it means I will not be able to see so much of you EC'ers as I will actually have to break down and do some work. But it's a great place to work with super bosses who understand about foaling mares. It's a mat leave that I'll be covering, but I hope that by the time the girl comes back that one boss may be considering retirement. It buys me a year anyway.

Geeze Ruth things are not going well for you this year so far.
Hang on! Hopefully things will get better. Keep us informed!

No, but they could be far worse.

Oof, the old nervous system doesn't need shocks like that! Glad to hear that your other job has room for you though - you have enough problems sleeping at night .
They say that when one door closes, another one opens - personally, I'd like to give "them" a good swift kick, but maybe this time, they're right. Let's hope so.
