#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl#Now its my turn for dating advice!!!#ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/cheeky.gif"#ed_cl# Friday night I went out for a birthday party. Met this guy who came with Ben(the birthday boy#ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/Word_Greetings/5.gif"#ed_cl#). Anyways the guy couldn't have sent the 'I'm interested signal' any clearer. (basicly around me all night. Doing the..I'm Itailian we give two kisses on the check thing when we were leaving, only to me.)#ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl#Here's the thing....no spark!#ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/Sad/4.gif"#ed_cl# He's really cute, not slimely(sp?), dresses well, intellegent but nothing. Ben and my best friend are like we gotta hook you guys up and I'm like #ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/Word_Negative/9.gif"#ed_cl#. I don't want to go out with someone that I don't get the butterflies for. Am I wrong?#ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl#Have any of you or would you go out with someone even though there is no attraction when you first meet/met?#ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/Love/18.gif"#ed_cl##ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

If you feel no spark there, then it is not your fault. Sounds like a
great guy but maybe just not the one for you. Don't guilt yourself into
going out with him, just because he's a nice guy and your friends think
you'd fit well together. I think if there's nothing there, you can't
help it..do what your heart (or brain!) is telling you!

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl#Blah, I know that feeling. I mean he's soo awesome in so many ways, but the spark just isn't there, like you just dont feel that way back!#ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl#And as simply as BT puts it...I agree, no spark = no date.#ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl#I mean even if you *tried* to make things work without the *spark*, the "relationship" (if you can call it one without the spark) wouldn't go anywhere anyways.#ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#STRONG#ed_cl##ed_op#/STRONG#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

I'm with GG on this. The best relationships are based on friendship as
well as love. Go and spend some time with him and see how it goes. What
do you have to lose? He may turn out to be a really wonderful guy and
the spark will develop.

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#What is it going to hurt. The worst that will happen is that you will have a couple of good dates with a guy you said is alright. I'd say that most of us married people are here reading this and saying "what, not going, she's crazy." We can only live the dating fun through you single folks now, once you have been married for as long as I have they don't try as hard to please you on a date.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#8000ff size=5#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl#hmmm...... no spark or initial attraction?? I totally agree that good relationships are more than just attraction.... obviously..... But if your not really attracted to him than it will be really hard. Like my last bf, I went out with because everyone was like oh hes so hot, hes a good guys blah blah blah, but I had no attraction to him... I was just like sure, ok I will try going out for awhile. It lasted 5 months and dried out fast. #ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#8000ff size=5#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#8000ff size=5#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl#I think its awesome the feelings you get when you meet someone and you have the whole butterflies and nervous thing going on. I know for me, its first like OMG... this guy is so hot.. hehe...lalalala.... and then after getting to know him a few times, its like wow.... this guy is hot AND amazing..... And its such a wicked feeling when you get that. That way your not just like, OH... this guy is supposed to be so amazing... what am I missing here?#ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#8000ff size=5#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#8000ff size=5#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl#But, you could try getting to know him a bit as friends first like that others said... Something might spark there and then you can move on from there..... #ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#8000ff size=5#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#8000ff size=5#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl#But really.... #ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#8000ff size=5#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT face="Comic Sans MS" color=#8000ff size=5#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl#NO SPARKY= NO DATEY..... right BT???? hahahahaaaaaa#ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
