#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#How long after getting sick do you have to wait to get a flu shot?#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I had a nasty cold a week ago, I don't think it was the flu, but better safe than sorry I guess.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#FONT color=#ff0000#ed_cl#As long as you have no lingering fever, I think it's ok if you just wait a week or two, but check with your doc.  After my big bout of the flu a number of years back, I think I waited a week after the last symptom subsided, but my memory is a bit fuzzy.#ed_op#/FONT#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I still have a bit of a cough. However I do have asthma, so that can make the coughing carry on for awhile.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
