#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#awww...you guys (lix & jax) really are big suckers for a fuzzy face!!!!!!!!!!!!!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#i'm so happy to hear Jumu is doing great lix!! i told ya she could hold her own, and yes, they get fat quick! once they get some good food & the yuckies taken care of.......they really are low maintenance when you compare them to dogs. i frequently compare my dog to a toddler, no matter how old he is, you always have to look after him. and yes, while you always have to look after the kitties, they are sooooo much more independant & will do their own thing. hence the reason why i also compare the dog to hubby....who can't ever look after himself (well, at times when he's forced too)....dogs = men, cats = women - i'm convinced. woman can look after themselves so much more than men! LOL. sorry to our male BBers.... honest #ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/Teasing/12.gif"#ed_cl#!!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#jax - lumpy!! LMAO...to cute.......you'll find him creeping into your heart one day. and ye, feline aids has been around for a long time. our 12 yr old ginger tabby (and this is going back to when i was 10-11, and i'm what...pushing 28 now) was diagnosed with feline aids way back when. it can be monitored & as long as the cat is looked after, that's about all you can do. sadly, we had to out our big ole guy down after a couple of years as he'd gotten into a huge fight (which was so rare for him), and developed very nasty nasty infections from his injuried. had he not had the feline aids, the vets may have been able to help him with better results....but after a couple of weeks on serious meds.....it wasn't enough. #ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/Sad/11.gif"#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#anyways......congrats you guys & good on ya!! wouldn't surpride me if you find more kitties hanging around your door in the coming years......LOL#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#oh - and GS - if you really wanted those evil cats gone, they would be, LOL!!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
