#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Well, the weather was hot ... but it was dry.  At least until the end of the day that is and then wham, did we get rain.  No, sorry, Niagara Falls relocated for 15 minutes to Blue Star Farm.  #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#On behalf of Shirley and Mike and the rest of the volunteers at the Dressage Show, we wanted to extend a special thank you to all of our competitors who braved the heat ... and the rain .... to make this the biggest and best show in the Blue Star Dressage Show history books.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#No, it's not a good idea to wear a black bra under a white dressage shirt if it rains.  Yes, large puddles do make for a very elevated extended trot across the diagnal.  AND ... grey horses do it in the rain ... Go Dale!  It's hard to be a stick in the mud (no pun intended) when you have Elaine Potter bopping to the music in the judge's booth as you go by !!!!  Nice move's Potter !!!!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#But we did survive even though there was at least one severe weather alert posted and everyone made it through the day just fine.  We will have the results posted as soon as we can, our new computer suffered a little with the muggy weather but I'll keep you posted.  We've got lots of pictures and are looking to put up a "rogues" gallery soon on the website so if anyone has any fun photos from the show, don't hesitate to share.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Until the next one .......#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
