#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Chenders - have you ever heard of threading? This is a popular techinique done by Middle Eastern and I think Asian ladies. If you have really sensitive skin (ie - facial hair) this might be one option for you. I went for a pedicure one day and the lady was from Iran and she told me about it. It doesn't hurt very much at all. I would look into finding a salon that practices threading and see if if helps you. #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#As for bikini waxing - I have had my bikini line waxed every 4-5 weeks for the past three years. I still get bumps and ingrown hairs - I too have tried the loofaf, exfoliator, the $60 'special cream' etc etc and nothing seems to work. If ever I win the lottery I'm getting it lasered off. #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Thanks, gals! Easter, I've never heard of threading. What does it involve (it sounds scary!) #ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/Shocked/5.gif"#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I think that I will go the waxing route. I've had my lower legs done and it didn't really hurt that much...and my upper lip is a waaaay smaller area, so hopefully it'll be NBD. I might splurge and have my eyebrows done too...they are very thick and bushy #ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys//ninja.gif"#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Chenders - I found this explanation on the net:#ed_op#BR#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#EM#ed_cl#"threading is actually an ancient, Middle Eastern technique that allows for precise and accurate removal of hair from the eyebrows, upper lip, cheeks and chin. The threading treatment uses cotton thread, which is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin, entwining one hair at a time and lifting it out from the root. Results typically last two to three weeks." #ed_op#BR#ed_cl##ed_op#/EM#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#About bleaching...would it work on stomach hair? See, I don't have the mustache, but dark hair on my stomach (which really doesn't work with bathing suits and low rise pants). How often do you have to bleach?#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Right now I nair it- but as said, it grows in again dark still, and of course it takes off the light hairs, so they grow in dark too.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#There's also a body lotion made by Jergens (I think) that is supposed have a bleaching effect, but also makes the hair finer. I'm thinking of trying it sometime.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Can anyone recommend a good laser place? I spend $5K to have my legs done and I still look like a gorilla! #ed_op#IMG src="http://forums.equestrianconnection.com/richedit/smileys/Angry/2.gif"#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I had ALL my facial hair removed by electrolysis when I was 20 and it lasted until I wound up with some nasty hormonal problems later in life. I would dearly love to have it lasered off.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Oh, and what I use for now is the cold wax strips that you rub between your hands; my skin is like an elephant's and my hair just laughs at chemical depilatories.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#GU - I would laser or wax the stomach hair. Bleaching will make you still have the hair but it'll be white instead of dark...lol. I've never tired the lotion. #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl# #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Dazzling - I had my arms lasered at a doctors office in Oakville. Let me know if you want the name. I highly recommed the doctors office. They are professional and know what they are doing. #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
