Any western saddles that I have used all have the stirrups in about the same spot...I guess it is just a different way of sitting...western vs the English. I dont know...I never realy took lessons on that sort of thing. I do know that the western saddle comes in many different shapes, sizes, weights and styles. It depends on what you planning on doing...barrel racing, roping, trail, endurence, just riding around in a yard or showing. It all makes a differentce. Barrel racing saddles are cut back and are lighter than the old roping saddles that weigh about as much as the horse. You have different riggings for the cinch do you want 1 cinch or 2> Two was originally intended for the roping....kept the saddle more stable when the steer reached the end of the rope. With one cinch you have many choices of where you want the rigging to be...I prefer the centre fire rigging...so the cinch is further back from the elbows of the horse. You can have the cinch closer if you wish. I hope this helps you some...not sure what you are looking for. #ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/TD#ed_cl##ed_op#/TR#ed_cl##ed_op#TR UNSELECTABLE="on" hb_tag="1"#ed_cl##ed_op#TD style="FONT-SIZE: 1pt" height=1 UNSELECTABLE="on"#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV id=hotbar_promo#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/TD#ed_cl##ed_op#/TR#ed_cl##ed_op#/TBODY#ed_cl##ed_op#/TABLE#ed_cl#
