hey all, just wanted to share the very exciting news that I found a new coach! she does mainly jumpers at the bigger shows, owns a smaller private barn in the area, only has about 12 students and she's awesome. She's fun and loves to chat with us outside the ring, but the BS stops at the gate. hehe. She seems very devoted to giving you her full attention and she's choosey with her students, so she's only got the super dedicated ones. A lot of the trainers here seem to be more like a "lesson factory". My old coach had 25 students at one show, and half the time he didnt get to see me go in my classes every time. that's annoying. This new coach is not like that at all, and seems to genuinely care. She's offered lots of options to me - staying there for a weekend so I can get the most out of my lessons, stuff like that. So here's hoping it really works out!!

I totally know the feeling. She sounds just like my coach. I just love the feeling of lightbulbs going off during every lesson. And each show is better. I'm not stressed or rushed.
When you find a good coach, they are most definitly worth keeping, even if they farther or more expensive. The end justifys the means in my books :D
Good luck to you this season, your new found confidence is sure to take you far!
