Male riders?

Postby devinmarch » Wed Jul 13, 2005 8:39 pm

Hey,#ed_op#br#ed_cl#
#ed_op#br#ed_cl#
Its me again. I just moved to the Ottawa area a few months ago, but
only just recently started to check out different stables and shows. I
found out that here in Ontario most all stables and shows are geared
towards english riders. Im pretty much a western rider, i only ever
showed on the American Quarter Horse Assosiation curcuit. Since i moved
here however I have decided to switch completly over to Hunter/Jumper
because it has been somthing i always wanted todo but never had the
oppertunity. #ed_op#br#ed_cl#

Im just wondering if there are or if you know of any other male riders
in the Ottawa area that are serious into riding and showing horses.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Try Westar Farms or NNEP. When I was at NNEPs dresage show in June  I saw quite a few male riders. Westar Farms is into Hunter/Jumper and they are quite into showing. They are hosting a  trillium and schooling show on July 30-31#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#i can only think of a few guys in ONTARIO that show/compete.  Mark Leyton, who is on this years young riders team, rides at Juniper in Oxford Mills, about 25 minutes west of ottawa....NNEP is a good suggestion (nepean national equestrian park)#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
