Errr....might be hard to find that one. You might find an OTTB mare
maybe, but amount of training will likely be minimal. I say mare cuz
I'm thinking of people who breed might want to trade, and that is what
they would have.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

Would you trade your own jumping gelding for a foundation QH brood mare?#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

Put out some really convincing ads and see what you get. Good luck,
hope you find her a good home and a nice new TB for yourself.#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I don't know what kind of *quality* of jumper you're looking for, but if you want a high end jumper, I'd say probably not. However, if you're looking for something a little lower end, or one that needs training you MIGHT be able to. I'd look around at some breeding farms, and look in the horsetrader because sometimes there are ads were people are looking to trade horses sometimes.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#its worth a try, but i agree with goldenyard - would YOU want to trade a jumper for a QH mare... its an odd trade also, bc they arent the same discipline, so you cant even look for someone just lookng for a different mount, you need to find someone looking for something completely different from what they have... ummm GOOD LUCK!!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

I don't know how well the trade would work but I would just sell the
quarterhorse to a breeder who knows her value as a broodmare...that way
you would probably get the most money for your quarterhorse....then go
look for a jumper with the money from the sale.
