Sure, I remember Supertramp.&nbsp; Kinda whiney as I recall.&nbsp; Think my ex had one or two of their albums.
Heck, I remember that Paul McCartney was in <EM>anothe</EM>r band before Wings. <IMG src="smileys/smiley23.gif" border="0"><edited><editID>tbbrat</editID><editDate>38391.7287615741</editDate></edited>

Oh, Supertramp was not whiny. Complaints about whiny from a country music fan????<img border="0" src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> Actually I think a pretty accomplished group of musicians.

Come On Eileen was done by Dexy's Midnight Runners. It came to me on the drive home last night and I just had to share. Embarrasing to have forgotten in the first place. <br />I also saw Trooper, but it was at the Kee in October before they had heat so we left early. Brrrr.

Eileen!&nbsp; The music they're talking about is at least twenty years old!&nbsp; Not "the latest music craze" by any means!<IMG src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0">
Never mind, I'm going through that with the bf's kids - "Who? Never heard of them!" <IMG src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0">

Yes, tbbrat I was just going to post and say the same thing. Eileen, these songs are FAR from the latest musical craze. I do listen to an alternative station from time to time just so that I have at least heard of the bands my younger cousins listen to, but I never had much affection for dance/rap/pop, so I say a lot of "What the who did what to your dog with a fork?"

Gosh darn it, Eileen, now you've got Murray McLachlan's "The Tractor Song" running through my head - "straw hat and old dirty hankie, mopping a face like a shoe" <IMG src="smileys/smiley7.gif" border="0">
Maybe I can get it to change to "John Deere Green" <IMG src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0">
Like the new avatar, BTW.<edited><editID>tbbrat</editID><editDate>38393.6627893519</editDate></edited>

tbbrat: That Murray Maclachlan song is actually called The Farmer's Song! Piece of trivia for you. That was the first song ever played on Q107. I know it was 1977 but not the month or day.
